panniers wanted for Le Mans

Postby Iron Butterfly on Wed Jul 07, 2010 10:35 am

Does anyone know of what panniers are good for a LM3?
I'm chasing a pair of frameless medium size throwover soft panniers that will fit a LM3, and hopefully fit the LM1 too. Anyone got any that I can buy off them? I've done a lot of googling, but it doesn't help with the actual fitment, or whether they flap in the breeze etc.
Any suggestions welcome, re brand, where in Perth to buy?
I can get in UK, but won't have a bike with me to see if they fit.

Oh yeah, and there's still a Bellagio sitting lonely at Mario's looking for a caring owner. Make an offer. Owner doesn't want to go travelling on his credit cards.

Hi Richard

Give Kazzmazz or kazmaz (or similar) Leathers a call.

They are at Kelmscott and make saddle gags and panniers up...

May have something suitable on shelf or maybe can custom build something...

They are on-line too..

Thanks Phil

I found them at http://www.kazzmazz.com.au/index1.html

Didn't know of their existence, but they have a very nice range of leather panniers. Alas they won't fit in the suitcase, but they have some Motodry panniers for $135 that should fold flat, so I'll give them a bell in the morning.

Cheers Rich

thanks Mick

Got a pair from Kazzmazz.

They have some nice stuff in that shop if anyone hasn't visited it before. Worth checking out if anyone looking for riding gear or luggage.
