Absolutely.  If you're not sure about the specifics, put a post up in the forum in Rides & Events and seek a bit of feedback.  Otherwise, if you're all set, add it to the Rides and Events calendar.

If you're newly registered, probably would be best to turn up to one of the pre-organised events to introduce yourself before adding rides to the calendar.
