This run to Moora was looking a little ominous when my head detached from the pillow that morning. I made my way to Gingers Roadhouse from Armadale, to encounter a brief drizzle period for the first 5km. Heavy fog was mistaken by a lot for clouds thereafter & hence, my arrival at Gingers was a lonely one. A little bit of excitement was short lived at Gingers when an NTX650 thundered in, only to grab a pint of milk, then head off home!! Thought he was one of us!! :'(
Two coffees later & fog was all but gone. I hear a thunder in the distance..... it was Mike on the new (& I must say SEXY) 1200 Sport. I thought to myself..... *well that's 1!!* After another coffee.... that was the way it stayed.... Mike & I indulged in a liesurely ride to morra for lunch!!
As we arrive in Moora, Mike topped the "go juice" tank & then we were off in search of Pub Grub!! Moora Hotel was shut before midday & the other one (I forget the name) was open, but..... NO GRUB BEFORE MIDDAY!! Augh!! Orders were in & softies it was 'til the clock clicked 12!! OK..... grub was up & a bit of bike chit chat over lunch saw a pleasant afternoon in the sunshine. Time to make tracks & onward home we go!! Well.... Mike home & me to The gate (Beeliar Pub) for an arvo ale!!
A good day out had by the both of us & look forward to seeing many more faces & bikes on many more rides!! Stay Upright & see you all soon!!
