As it turned out, it was a great day for a day out on the machines that we love so much, to meet some likeminded individuals. A cloudless day at Tomato Lake, (despite battling against some Mediterranean Festival thingo) saw around a dozen show for the first ALL GUZZI BBQ meet. This was a good chance to show off Man (and Woman) & machine, not to be out done by the Breva Club (haha) & the many lines of conversation that followed!! A handful of the the vintage Guzzi lads made a fashionably late appearance (for which I thank you) & in the end, we saw around 15 or so Guzzis.
The Barby was cranking (free of course..... is there another kind??) & all who were eating had a hand in it. Leftover snags proved popular amongst the latecomers that saw wall to wall HALAL whatever & not a lot else, courtesy of the festival. We all gas bagged 'til our households required our bodies home, then parted company in patches!!
This, in general, I found to be a great central point for a social BBQ meet & would appreciate your feedback and alternate ideas.
