That looks a lot like an MZ250 from the late 80's.

Can't tell for sure because there is a meatsack in the way.

We won't have to worry abut Guzzis soon, unless they see the future.

Somehow it wont quite be the same....watching the MotoGP/MotoE without ear plugs.

Racing in a cacophony of silence!!!!
In theory, there's no difference between theory and reality.
    But in reality, there is.

Great article! I must admit that I'm a "foot in two camps" guy (not a "camp guy", don't twist my words).

I do love the soundtrack that the Cali makes and certainly the knowledge of having that on tap to punctuate the G's and the increase in wind through my hair (ears and back) adds to the enjoyment of the ride.

At the same time e bikes will bring their own unique features to the ride. I can imagine what a really speccy ride through the Rockies or the Pilbara would be like as you cruised silently along. You'd still have the G's and the wind and you may discover other stuff you'd been missing out on because of the rumble.

I think adding noise to e bikes (and cars) in order to make them "sound" like something they aren't is the same as adding those ridiculous "hot dog" mufflers to little econo boxes. Its still the same transport, only goofier.
